🥁 How to Use the Rhythm Trainer

This trainer is designed to help you improve timing, rhythmic accuracy, and internal pulse through interactive practice.

1. Set your tempo
Choose a BPM using the slider. Start slower to build accuracy, then gradually increase the tempo.

2. Choose your subdivision
Select how the beat is divided (quarter, eighth, triplet, or sixteenth notes). This changes the rhythmic grid you’ll practice with.

3. Generate a pattern
Click “New Pattern” to create a rhythm based on the selected difficulty level.

4. Start the trainer
Press Start to begin the metronome. The moving green square shows the current beat, while red squares show where notes occur.

5. Watch your timing feedback
Your taps are analyzed in real time:

  • Perfect = very close to the beat

  • Early = before the beat

  • Late = after the beat

The timing graph shows exactly how far ahead or behind the beat each hit was.

7. Challenge yourself
Increase the difficulty, tempo, or try polyrhythms to push your rhythmic control further.

Tip: Focus on consistency first. Accurate slow practice builds the strongest timing.
